The Role

Few categories of this scale have yet to have their AI moment. Compliance is one of them. We have spent months under wraps building an ambitious product that will define this market. Now we are building out the founding commercial team to go capture it.

The companies we serve operate in some of the most demanding regulatory environments in the world. Serving them well requires more than great technology — it requires people who understand their world deeply. As Domain Specialist for Financial Regulation, you will be that person: working alongside our commercial and product teams to bring genuine domain expertise to every customer conversation, from first pitch through to real value.

You will help customers understand how Freda works, support onboarding and implementation, and ensure customers get real value from the product in their particular context. You will also help define how our product offering is shaped to meet specific domain requirements.

What You'll Do

• Work with prospective customers to demonstrate how Freda addresses their specific regulatory obligations and needs
• Support onboarding and ongoing engagement, bringing domain depth to every stage of the customer journey
• Build trust with compliance, legal, and risk stakeholders across our customer base
• Help shape how we position and talk about Freda within the financial regulation landscape
• Identify product gaps and opportunities from what you see in the market, and bring those back clearly to the product team
• Contribute regulatory expertise directly into product development, from framework coverage to how we structure compliance workflows

What We're Looking For

You might come from an advisory or consulting background, an in-house compliance or legal function, a regulator, or somewhere else entirely. Experienced enough to have a solid understanding of both the law and practice. You have developed a strong regulatory "gut feeling" — you inherently know what matters, what doesn't, what things mean and where they fit into the bigger picture without needing to do hours of preliminary research.

• Solid understanding of financial regulation (e.g. DORA, AML, CDD, PSD2, MiFID) — comfortable advising across different markets and business models, connecting the theory to practical implementation for companies of all sizes
• The ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders — from founders to compliance teams
• A product mindset: you're not just interested in the rules, you're interested in how technology can change how companies engage with them
• Genuine enthusiasm for being part of an early team, where your work directly shapes what we build and how we grow
• Fluent and opinionated about how AI can be applied to compliance work — you don't need to be technical, but you should be comfortable using AI-assisted tools daily, able to judge where they add real value versus where human expertise is non-negotiable, and eager to push the boundaries of what's possible

Location

We have global ambitions from day one. We are hiring a commercial team to cover the Nordics, the UK, DACH, and France — and we are open to people working from our Stockholm office and travelling frequently, or being based in their local market.
